BFnD Finishing up second release , Solo and Creatures of Habit News
Posted: Sep 17, 2024In the Studio is a real phrase for Jeff Westlake. He has lived the better part of his life there and on stage since the mid 90's. The studio is where he is currently as we checked in with him on things with BFnD.
Well, currently putting touches on the next release which will be out around the holidays this year. We are also writting new music for the 3rd release as we speak. Working with Sammi and the band is just a lot of un and it makes the music that much better." says Westlake.
Also while all that is going on Westlake is readying a new release of solo stuff as well as in the cretive mode again with some old friends in a new band called Creatures of Habit.
"The solo stuff is some re worked stuff from my past and a new thing here and there. COH is revisiting the passion with Jeff Boggs, John Cardilino and Ryan Stepp. We are currently writing for a spring release. The Solo stuff may be out by holiday, we will see." Jeff said from the control room at his home based studio.
There is a lot going on in the world of Jeff Westlake and he is all the happier for it. "I have been blessed way more than i deserve in my life with some unreal talent in every aspect of this thing we call music. Everyday is something amazing and I love it. Lots on the horizon for the next 18 months" says Westlake.
